This product was developed to be used with the 3M VHB tapes in order to increase the bonding strength of the tape. Since then, this product has also become popular for assisting in the application of automobile vinyl wraps. It will also increase the bond between vinyl wraps and anything where there is a need for a strong, durable bond. Before using the product, make sure the bonding surface is relatively clean and dry. To use the product, shake the 3M primer well before using it. Then, apply a thin uniform coating to the bonding surface using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface. It takes the product five minutes to dry at room temperature. Make sure the primed surface is free from contaminants when applying the tape.
