- These tomatoes are sweet with a very subtle amount of acidity. They are also plump and finely textured. They are ideal for your special pasta sauce, pizza, soup, or simple topping ciabatta bread with drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt.
- La Fonte San Marzano Tomatoes are made with selected San Marzano tomatoes varieties, grown in Campania in an area between the provinces of Naples, Salerno, and Avellino, known for its fertile volcanic soil, high water table and ideal Mediterranean microclimate.
- These tomatoes are cultivated vertically, using wires attached to wooden supports, and are harvested manually between the summer months of August and September. They are then attentively sorted, steam peeled and packed in their tomato juice.
- La Fonte San Marzano Tomatoes are PDO (protected designation of origin) certified and each can has its unique identification number.
- Packed in easy open, white lacquered, BPA free lining tinned cans.
