Mutual non-woven is a 3.5-ounces fabric. Non-woven geotextiles used as a filter, allow subsurface water to pass into drainage core while preventing soil from clogging the system. Absorb asphalt tack to form moisture barrier that retards reflective cracking. Non-woven geotextiles are multi-purpose fabrics that are felt-like in appearance. There are numerous practical applications for non-woven geotextiles. Non-woven drainage fabrics are an economical alternative to graded aggregate and sand filters and can eliminate many of the problems associated with using, purchasing and transporting aggregate. Another use for a non-woven geotextile is as asphalt overlay fabric. Overlay fabric increases pavement life by providing a solution for reflective cracking. In addition, nonwoven geotextiles are used in landscaping applications such as landscape fabric to retard weed growth. They are also useful for separation, performing well under such diverse applications as paver walkways or railroad track. As cow carpet, they provide farmers with a solution to mud problems and improve animal health. Mutual' full line of non-woven geotextile products are made from staple filaments of polypropylene fiber and are needle-punched and heat set. Grab tensile strength: 90 pounds; grab elongation: 50 percent; trapezoid tear: 35 pounds; puncture: 55 pounds; mullen burst: 185 PSI; permittivity: 2.2 SEC-1; permeability: 0.2 CM/SEC; AOS: 0.21 US sieve; water flow: 110 gpm per square feet; UV resistance (500 hr): 70 percent; weight (ounces per square yard): 3.5-ounces. Measures 300-feet length by 6-feet width.
